Job Title: Electrical Foreman
About Us: We are a leading electrical construction recruitment firm with extensive partnerships across the country. With connections to over 575 electrical contractors, we are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman to join one of our partner firms.
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction management, with the ability to lead a team and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Plan and schedule work assignments, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to allocate resources and address project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, promoting a safe work environment for all employees.
- Train and mentor electrical technicians and apprentices, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
- Perform quality control inspections to verify work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of experience in electrical construction, with proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in electrical tools and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
