Find your future with us.Job SummaryThe Electrical Ground Support Equipment Engineering Team Manager will be responsible for managing development of electrical hardware that supports development and testing of Millennium products and spacecraft
This hardware includes test equipment to support qualification and acceptance testing, hardware-in-the-loop test setups, functional testing, environmental testing, and other special equipment needs as required to meet corporate priorities
The EGSE Team Manager coordinates across the enterprise to deliver the equipment necessary to support engineering, programs, and manufacturing.This position's internal job code is EE Engineering Manager
Our team is currently hiring for level K.ResponsibilitiesContinuously improve our EGSE team processes and clearly define our EGSE development workflowDevelop tools to provide cost and schedule inputs to EGSE system development planningMentor, train, motivate, and develop EGSE staffManage EGSE team and staff including personnel reviews, tasking, and work scopeIdentify, communicate, and assist in the risk management processAssign EGSE staff to programs and products and evaluate technical performanceMaintain documentation for current products including technical, schedule, and costing information to support proposals and programsWork with the engineering organization, business development, programs, and manufacturing to develop a product roadmap that aligns to Millennium corporate objectivesWork with hardware engineering director to develop, evaluate, and refine technical processes and standards for the EGSE teamLead the EGSE staff to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and meet all business requirements in support of proposals, testing, configurations, compliance, and designOther job duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications5 or more years of relevant experience BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.Experience in developing electrical systemsExperience in software developmentHands-on experience using electrical test equipmentWork onsite to manage a team of engineers for fast paced development of test systems and equipmentWork with programs to understand staffing needsAbility to interpret and work with internal customers to define requirementsDesign system functional test block diagramsDesign automated test equipment systems for spacecraft avionicsStrong communication skillsAbility to obtain a U.S
