Electrical Maintenance Technician- Journeyman - We Hire People

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is working with an industry leader to find a Electrical Maintenance Technician. The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for overall maintenance activities to ensure safety, and environmental compliance of the plant, while setting a standard of efficiency for the processes.
Responsibilities:

• Experience with Input/Output cards.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation/process controls issues, calibration, 4-20mA.
• Understand Class 1 Div1 and Class 1 Div 2 regulations for devices and controls.
• Build conduit runs and cable tray installs according to current regulations.
• Perform upgrades to manufacturing equipment that support improvements in safety, quality, and on time delivery.
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Experience in industrial motor controls and control circuits.
• Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and using test equipment.
• Experience with AC/DC electrical control and power circuits.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls.
• Maintain, repair, install, and test VFDs, motor starters, and contactors.
• Maintains shop and storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Installing and repairing conduit, wire, and fixtures per current NEC code.
• Needs to be committed to continuous improvement.
• Experience with single and 480VAC three-phase electrical distribution systems and motor controls.
• Experience with industrial wiring;solid state industrial equipment;blueprint and schematic reading;lockout/tagout.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with training Maintenance Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Minimum State Journeyman Electrician License
