Our Electrical Management System (EMS) Installation Technicians continue to drive our profession, image, and reputation. Our EMS Installation Technicians are committed to performing service repairs, equipment maintenance, and replacements for our customers as needed, 24/7. Min Compensation:USD $20.00/Hr.Max Compensation:USD $38.00/Hr.Responsibilities:
- Travel out-of-state weekly for jobs
- Layout projects to install and commission EMS systems.
- EPA 608 universal certification
- A mechanical aptitude and/or construction experienceworking with EMS systems
- Ability to work with and learn multiple energy control systems.
- Perform EMS equipment installation to monitor and control HVAC, Refrigeration, Lighting equipment
- Install/service refrigeration systems controls, Commercial HVAC units/controls including, but not limited to multiple compressor applications, Ice Machines, Soda Machines, Reach-in coolers, Rack Refrigeration/Supermarket, and perform necessary installation/service resulting in customer satisfaction with little to no call backs from inspections.
- Troubleshoot and service EMS Equipment in a timely manner as to complete job progress.
- Work by developed local and national codes for safe installation and operation.
- A willingness to learn how to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer’s literature to best install HVAC/R EMS equipment.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
- Maintain clean and safe conditions on job sites and in work vehicles.
- Strong communication with other employees, lead EMS technicians, foreman, and/or managers.
- Complete parts/material inventories as assigned.
- This position travels and works out of the area for an extended period of time.
- Possesses a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Successful completion of reference, driving record & background check.
- Acknowledge, participate in, or test out of KORE’s knowledge certifications competencies.
- Help to mentor/teach lower level installers.
- Knowledge of the manufacturers installation practices and codes for HVAC/R units, small refrigeration equipment, and walk-in boxes, Ice machines, Soda/Fountain machines, cooking equipment, rack, supermarket, multiple compressor installations and EMS experience.
- Demonstrates self-motivation & successful experience in previous jobs & assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to multitask, and get supervisors’ approval on questions or concerns
- Must have integrity, reliability and ability to listen to and interpret supervision from managers/supervisors
- Ability to pass criminal background check and federal drug screening
