Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Manager to oversee our electrical department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all electrical projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and on schedule. The Electrical Manager will also lead a team of electricians, provide technical expertise, and maintain a high level of quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all electrical projects from inception to proposal to completion.
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these parameters.
- Review technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations.
- Procure materials and equipment required for electrical projects, ensuring cost- effectiveness and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that may arise during work order, proposal, and projects phases.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in electrical work.
- Ensure the electrical technicians under your supervision provide superior customer service to our client base.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical service.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical project management or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in multifamily and residential preferred.
- Understanding of payroll and CRM
- Proficient in Microsoft
- 50% - 70% in office
