Electrical Mantenance Technician - OneSource Staffing Solutions

As a Maintenance Electrician (this opening is for our Day Shift Monday to Friday 7 AM to 4 PM) and provide services to ensure that all electrical systems, wiring and equipment remain functional on our production equipment. You will rely on your ability to multi-task as you work in a fast-paced environment to keep our company operational. Build your technical skills as you work closely with team members, handling orders in an efficient manner and determining which ones to prioritize. Your organizational skills will also be required as you ensure that you have sufficient supplies to handle routine electrical maintenance tasks and can quickly get other supplies as needed to reduce downtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and replace faulty machine components such as motors, drives, and PLC controls.
• Assist maintenance personnel with repair of a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Plan and install the necessary wiring for installation of new equipment.
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance on electrical distribution system.
• Complete all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code.
• Keep electrical drawings organized and up to date.
• Responsible to perform other duties and activities as directed

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a production environment
• Must have knowledge of 480 Volt 3 Phase distribution systems.
• Must have knowledge of industrial electrical/equipment installations.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical problems that arise.
• Must be able to troubleshoot AC and DC drives and control systems.
• Must be familiar with PLC controls. PLC programming skills a plus.
• Possess a working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft office and outlook a plus
• Have knowledge in technical drawings and the ability to interpret said drawings.
• Must be independent in the ability to do any equipment changeover throughout plant
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of maintenance work
