This position assembles wires, and tests, electrical panels containing high and low voltage, or other mechanical units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing and safety procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean organized and safe work environment. They will perform field service and
installation at customer sites. Assist in creating and improving standard operating procedures for assembling, manufacturing, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment. This position will be a 6 month contract to hire. It will be located onsite 5 days a week at the clients location.

responsibilities:
What you'll do (job responsibilities and tasks)
? Assemble and install electrical panels and subpanels following established layouts and specifications. Mount
circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and other electrical components within panels. Connect low and high voltage
wires to terminal blocks and busbars within panels, ensuring secure and proper connections. Label circuits and
components for easy identification, maintenance and safety.
? Perform final testing and verification of assembled electrical panels for functionality and safety.
? Implement repairs or adjustments to fix defective products, ensuring they meet quality standards.
? Conduct thorough testing of repaired products to verify functionality.
? Provide technical support and guidance to customers on product usage and maintenance.
? Update assembly steps, tools required, safety precautions, and quality control measures.
? Review and update work instructions and SOPs as needed to reflect changes in processes or products.

? Hard skills
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to seven years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Electrical trade school/certifications and/or demonstrated success in electrical assembly including the
ability to translate electrical schematics into finished wiring.
(Desired) Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) including electrical systems using 120/277
and 277/480 volts multi-phase systems and the ability to read, interpret and understand electrical
schematics
(Desired) Demonstrated success in one or more of the following electrical applications: Electrical Control
Panel Assembly/Installation, Industrial Panel Building, installation or assembly of industrial electrical
distribution systems involving 120-480 volts
o Electrical Panels - Knowledge of high and low voltage panel wiring, electrical circuitry, wire sizing,
connector selection, crimping, soldering, grounding, and interpretation of wiring diagrams and electrical
circuits. Demonstrated experience in panel product layout, assembly, wiring, with specific experience
with panels containing high voltage AC.
o Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
o Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and
on time; supports organization's goals and values.
o Quantity - Meets productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner; strives to increase
productivity; works quickly.
