Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Multifamily Construction Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This role is crucial to our organization as you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of our multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. This includes planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the specific projects you are working on. You will be working closely with upper management to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, within budget and meets the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large scale, high profile projects and make a significant impact on our company and the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
5. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
6. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
7. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
8. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
11. Coordinate and manage the details of all construction projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
12. Work with architects and engineers to ensure plans and blueprints are accurately followed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically with multifamily projects.
3. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
4. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
5. Familiarity with construction management software packages.
6. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
7. Leadership and human resources management skills.
8. Excellent time and project management skills.
9. Proven experience overseeing large construction projects from start to finish.
10. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
11. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
12. Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
13. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
14. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
15. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
