Electrical Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and team leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Execution and Monitoring: Oversee day-to-day project activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality assurance, and project specifications. Monitor progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial performance aligns with project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders. Ensure all project records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the electrical sector (5+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, design, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
