Electrical Revit Designer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an immediate need for an Electrical Revit Designer in the Marietta, GA area.

Job Description:

• Creating efficient, cost-effective commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, and/or multifamily facilities design
• Designing and drafting electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution and building systems
• Understanding and applying the NEC, NFPA 72, and other codes to electrical system design
• Performing both interior and exterior lighting designs using ElumTools, Lithonia Visual, or similar lighting software
• Performing energy code compliance analyses using ComCheck software
• Coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines
• Modifying designs following quality control review by senior designers and engineers

Required:

• Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD
• 1-3+ years of experience in the design and drafting of commercial electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as a strong team player
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Self-motivated and looking for expanding responsibility
• Possess a basic understanding of electrical system theory and apply it to design tasks
• Ability to use basic electrical formulas to calculate power, current, and other required quantities

Preferred:

• A.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology

Pay range: $29/hour - $41/hour ($60,000 - $85,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months temp to direct or possible direct hire
Pay method when direct: Hourly
Location of job: Marietta, GA
Hours and shift: Monday - Thursday (8AM – 6PM) and Friday (8AM – 12PM)
Work from home: Not in beginning but flexible down the line
Working remote: No
Overtime expected: No
Travel: no
