About the Job
The Sr. Electrical Supervisor reports directly to the Plant Manager. The Sr. Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for planned and unplanned electrical maintenance and some project. The Sr. Electrical Supervisor will utilize the CMMS (JDE) system in planning maintenance activities such as entering work orders, ordering parts, scheduling maintenance, etc.

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain and configure PLC s system and HMIs
Work with corporate engineers on capital projects
Utilize CMMS(JDE) system in planning maintenance activities: entering work orders, ordering parts, scheduling maintenance.
Attend weekly planning meetings, assist in planning short and long-term work
Inspects and reports equipment for needed repairs and preventative maintenance
Work with Operations, Maintenance and hourly and contract electricians in troubleshooting
Supervise, train and develop plant electricians (normally 2-3)
Additional duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Minimum of a bachelor s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience Industrial Electrical and/or PLC training classes
Must have 5 years of practical experience in an industrial setting performing electrical work
Supervisory experience is desired
Must be able to quickly define problem and apply corrective action
Cooperative spirit with hourly union and salaried supervisors to meet desired objectives
Schedule and complete maintenance tasks through ongoing coordination with production supervision
Labor relations knowledge and experience is critical
Extensive computer skills be able to utilize CMMS to create work orders, look-up and order parts, write requisitions
Working knowledge of plant automation and electrical systems Pumps, conveyors and relay logic
Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC -5 and Control Logix PLC s; Ethernet IP fiber optic and UTP networks
Working knowledge of Device net networks; PID controllers Power Distribution 120/240/480-volt systems, 4160v systems, 34.5kv systems
Troubleshooting assistance to hourly electricians
Disciplined approach to scheduling equipment maintenance, especially prioritization of work
PLC Programming
Working Knowledge of Wonderware and other HMIs
Working Knowledge of our plant CMMS system-JDE
