Electrical Systems Support Engineer
Location: Las Vegas, NV (On-site)
Salary: $46,000 - $48,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package
Role Summary:
Our client is seeking an Electrical Systems Support Engineer to assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of electrical power monitoring systems. This role involves collaborating with various teams, including Operations, Networking, Sales, and Construction, to ensure operational efficiency and minimize costs. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, at least 1 year of relevant experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovative solutions within a large commercial facility setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning and implementation of load balancing activities.
Audit electrical engineering drawings and propose improvements.
Install, configure, and maintain electrical power monitoring systems and devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power monitoring devices.
Support EPMS deployments at multiple sites, including facility expansions.
Assist in project management for special installations and system integrations.
Provide remote support and coordination with external teams as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
At least 1 year of experience in electrical systems or related field.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial environments, including UPS systems, transformers, and switchgear.
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.
Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, SNMP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in large commercial facilities or multi-megawatt environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
Certification in electrical or electronics engineering is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work in an office and field setting, with local, domestic, and international travel as required.
Must be able to climb ladders and operate equipment in a dynamic environment.
