Electrical Technician - 2H Talent

Position Summary

This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on both mechanical and electrical skills. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and components, including control panels, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will also specialize in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC and computer-controlled production equipment, with proficiency in Modicon and Allen Bradley systems.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs, and operating instructions.

• Proven track record of dependability and exceptional job attendance.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.

• Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electrical technology or a related field from an accredited school or college.

• Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment is advantageous.

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance.

• Ability to comprehend and interpret complex program and equipment manuals accurately.

• Experience in AC/DC motor control is preferred.
