As an Electrical Test Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
1. Evaluate new test technologies and methods.
2. Determine Design for Test (DFT) specifications and coordinate with engineering staff on new product design.
3. Design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing products that meet corporate objectives.
4. Train production testing staff in function, design, and maintenance of all testing processes on the production floor.
5. Gather and analyze test data to improve test coverage and efficiencies.
This job might be for you if you have:
1. BSEE or equivalent work experience
2. Minimum of 2 years experience designing and developing production tests
3. 2+ years of experience in electronic design, manufacturing and testing
4. Skill in design and construction of test fixtures
5. Experience in writing test procedures and test documentation
Location Information:
Lewiston, ID- This position is located at SEL's state of the art manufacturing facility in Lewiston, ID where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life. Pay Range Data:
We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Salary range for position is $69,100 - $108,100. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
