Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications

Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools

Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code

Provide training and supervision to apprentices

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program

Licensure as a journeyman electrician

5+ years of experience as an electrician

Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and wiring regulations

Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment safely

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent understanding of safety procedures and legal regulations

Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job

Good communication and interpersonal abilities
