Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrician to join our team at Nebulon Dynamics. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various client sites. This position involves working with high voltage, low voltage, and complex industrial electrical systems, ensuring all operations meet safety and quality standards. You'll perform electrical diagnostics, collaborate with project teams, and execute preventive maintenance measures. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on at diverse project sites, contributing to projects that range from residential to commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical System Installation & Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment, adhering to industry standards and project specifications. This includes both high-voltage and low-voltage systems.

- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose electrical issues by using appropriate testing tools, analyzing system data, and identifying root causes. Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions to maintain optimal functionality of electrical systems.

- Safety Compliance:

Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct safety checks and ensure systems comply with national and local electrical codes.

- Preventive Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and inspection of electrical systems to prevent potential issues and extend the lifespan of equipment. Record findings, update maintenance logs, and schedule repairs as necessary.

- Technical Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to complete projects accurately and efficiently. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute complex electrical installations.

- Client Interaction & Support:

Engage with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical insights on installation and maintenance tasks. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering quality service and addressing any on-site concerns.

- Inventory Management:

Track inventory of electrical parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for scheduled work. Coordinate with the purchasing team to request new materials as needed.

-Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education:

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; formal electrical training or apprenticeship completion is highly preferred.

- Experience:

- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an electrician in industrial, commercial, or residential environments.

- Proficiency in handling both low and high-voltage systems.

- Experience with electrical diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance.

- Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and schematics.

- Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and ammeters.

- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.

- Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

- Organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to quality and safety.

Preferred Certifications

- Journeyman or Master Electrician License.

- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

- First Aid/CPR certification.

- Specialized training or certification in industrial electrical systems is a plus.
