About the Job
Intermediate Industrial Electricians perform a variety of maintenance related tasks in connection with the maintenance department to improve the reliability and up-time of equipment used in the pulp and paper manufacturing process. You will work alongside other trade professionals under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Electrician.

- Service and maintain existing electrical equipment, including plant lighting and receptacle circuits, motors, starters, relays, push buttons, limit switches, special control switches, timers, counters, motor control centers, control panels and transformers, as well as the test equipment needed to do this servicing.
- Maintain power distribution equipment, including high voltage transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, starters, motors, and transmission lines.
- Electrical Construction, including installation of conduit and wiring for power distribution and lighting; panel building; installation of conduit and wiring for machine and equipment controls; layout, planning and installation of control systems including programmable controllers, drives, servo systems, etc.; installation of communication and data systems.
- Troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment using the necessary test equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.
What you need to succeed:
- Successful completion of a formal or vocational education program within the last three years or have worked in an industrial manufacturing environment as a sub journeyman Electrician or E&I Technician 2 out of the last 5 years.
- Basic knowledge and experience in computer usage.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Must be able to work rotating shifts
- Must be able to pass a multi-phase physical.
- Must agree to complete sub-journeyman training program through training and testing provided by the company to reach Journeyman level status.
Compensation Offered
Starting wage of $29.15/hour.
