About the Job
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the installation of various electrical systems, ensuring all components are installed according to the latest industry standards.
- Provide regular maintenance and service on existing electrical systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and repair faults within electrical installations promptly to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of all users.
- Certify new and existing electrical installations, ensuring they meet all local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate installations and ensure all aspects of the electrical systems are integrated seamlessly with other building services.
- Keep detailed records of all installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities to comply with all regulatory requirements and support ongoing maintenance schedules.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and safety standards to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in electrical engineering or related field is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as a licensed electrician status in the state of Florida.
- Proven experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repair, particularly in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.
- Available to work extended hours and weekends.
- Strong understanding of local codes and regulations pertaining to electrical systems in Orlando, FL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure without compromising on safety or quality.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and other construction professionals.
- Physically capable of performing the demanding tasks associated with this role, including lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
