About the Job
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
- Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches, to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, and implementing solutions to resolve issues.
- Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure their efficient operation.
- Adhering to safety practices and regulations while working with electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborating with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
