Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician for projects located in Portland, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $40-50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install and repair wiring
- Electrical fixtures
- Power equipment
- Components of machinery and equipment
- Following electrical code manuals, specifications, schematics and blueprints
- Circuit breaker panels
- Install and connect power supply, wiring cables, conduit and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment
- Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits systems and equipment using testing instruments and equipment
- Operation of equipment, tools and company pickup truck
Requirements
- Oregon LME License
- Valid Drivers License
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and operating principles of motors
- Knowledge of local electrical codes, ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to use hand and power tools and some related PLC related experience
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing all systems
- Minimum of 5+ years experience
