Electrician - Premier Global Links

Pay Rate: $40 per hour (+ $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift)
Shifts Available: 2nd (2PM - 10PM) & 3rd (10PM - 6AM)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrician with a Journeymans card or a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role focuses on machine maintenance rather than facilities upkeep. Ideal candidates have a strong background in electrical maintenance for manufacturing equipment, with a preference for experience in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems for CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment.
• Work with voltages from 24V DC up to 480V, including high/medium voltage circuits.
• Perform industrial maintenance tasks, including work with Allen Bradley PLCs, Program Frequency Drives, motors, and safety circuits.
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines is highly desirable.
• Collaborate with controls engineers and technicians to adjust and troubleshoot frequency drive parameters.

Qualifications

• Required: Journeyman Electricians card or 7+ years of electrician experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferred: Experience with Allen Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens CNC systems.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting proximity switches, safety circuits, motors, drives, relays, and more.
• Solid understanding of industrial PLC systems and circuitry from 24V DC to 480V AC.

Additional Perks

• Overtime Pay: 1.5x for over 40 hours and on Saturdays, and 2x on Sundays and holidays.
• Union Support: Overtime shifts are rotational, with schedules announced every Thursday.
