Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, PLC systems, and high-voltage circuits (480V, 120V, 24V DC).
- Example: Diagnose and repair Fanuc and Siemens controllers to ensure minimal production downtime.
PLC Systems:
- Work with Allen Bradley PLCs to troubleshoot and adjust Program Frequency Drives (PFDs) and ensure optimal performance.
- Example: Keep all PLC systems running smoothly to support production lines.
CNC Machinery:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on CNC machines.
- Example: Troubleshoot motors, relays, and safety circuits to avoid interruptions in production.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on CNC machinery, robotic equipment, and other industrial systems to minimize equipment downtime.
- Example: Regularly inspect and maintain all equipment for optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Journeyman Electrician or 7+ years of direct electrician experience in manufacturing environments—not facilities maintenance.
- CNC Maintenance: Hands-on experience working on CNC machines and electrical systems.
- PLC Knowledge: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and troubleshooting Program Frequency Drives.
- High-Voltage Circuitry: Hands-on experience with 480V, 120V, and 24V DC circuits.
- Electrical Systems: Must be experienced with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuitry.
Preferred Skills:
- Automotive Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in automotive production environments is highly preferred.
- Fanuc & Siemens Controllers: Hands-on experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers is highly valued.
- Advanced CNC/PLC Skills: Proficiency in either PLC programming or CNC troubleshooting is a bonus.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of direct experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment, specifically working with manufacturing equipment (NOT facilities maintenance). Skills: Proficiency in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and high/low voltage circuits. Extensive experience with CNC machinery, particularly Fanuc and Siemens controllers. Familiarity with PLCs, especially Allen Bradley, and the ability to navigate Program Frequency Drives. Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills, with a proven record of resolving complex electrical issues in a manufacturing setting. Preferred: Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive industry is a plus. Certification: A journeyman’s card is preferred but not required if the candidate has the necessary experience. Flexibility: Experience with both CNCs and PLCs is highly valued, with a stronger emphasis on one area being acceptable.
