Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Holmdel, New Jersey
Pay Rate: $24-27 /hour
Must Haves:
- Minimum 2+ years of assembly experience working in high tech/electronics industry.
- Must be able to work onsite in Holmdel, New Jersey 5 days a week
- Ability to read documents and assembly drawings
- Ability to read and follow detailed test procedures.
My Client is looking to hire an assembler for a 6+ Month Contract to work in a production environment as a team member with multiple responsibilities.
These include the daily assembly of electro-mechanical parts and systems, troubleshooting, rework, packaging, and shipping of products.
The tasks require a basic knowledge of electronics, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools. The selected candidate must also be able to lift 50 pounds, follow written instructions, and be familiar with Microsoft Office Software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly and electro-mechanical assembly following written and verbal instructions.
- Use tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and crimpers to complete assembly operations.
- Understand and identify standard and metric assembly hardware and tools.
- Follow quality procedures and maintain proper shop flow controls.
- Assist as required in other areas of Operations (physical inventory, stockroom, shipping, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent certification or work-related experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of assembly experience working in high tech/electronics industry.
- Ability to read documents and assembly drawings
- Ability to read and follow detailed test procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Windows-based programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
