Required Skills
- 5-10 years Medical device experience
- Electronics / Electrical Engineers OR Mechanical Engineers with Electronics work experience.
- Role will be the interface between R&D and Vendor / Suppliers, acting as an SME to the R&D team to realize the Electronics portion of the medical device - component selection, vendor interaction and documentation for regulatory needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and Qualification of process such as PCB fabrication and assembly
- Understand and conductDOE's for process characterizations/mfg development, DFM/A and RFQ processes
- GD&T and drawing interpretation
- Design Validation Testing, Product & Process development / qualification / Validation
- Experience in medical devices and understand quality documentation
- Statistical techniques, develop validation protocols, qualify first articles, complete process capability studies
- IPQA, IPC & External Standards experience
