We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineering Aide to join our team. This role involves designing and fabricating equipment used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineering Aide to join our team. This role involves designing and fabricating equipment used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication: Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components, including placing and soldering components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies.
- Wiring Harnesses: Fabricate wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and applying mounting hardware.
- Assembly: Build lower-level assemblies into single or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.
- Documentation: Read, interpret, and occasionally correct engineering drawings/schematics. Use computer-based programs to update job status, Quality Inspections, and Engineering changes.
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3 years of experience in electrical fabrication (cable and harness, SMT board, test equipment, etc.).
- 3 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and test and repair procedures.
- 3 years of experience fabricating electrical test equipment designs from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, and engineering practices manuals.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in repairing electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Basic knowledge of avionics and electronics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and fault isolation of components using general-purpose and/or automated test equipment.
- Familiarity with automated and/or general-purpose test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, network analyzers, and waveform generators).
- Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications, and industry processes.
- Proficiency in safety wiring assemblies and connectors.
- Ability to solder and repair cables and harnesses.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- High school diploma.
- Knowledge of solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721.
- Expertise in fault isolation for electro-mechanical components.
- Understanding of hardware repair concepts.
- Experience with CCA component rework and repair.
- Rework experience with BGAs and electrical maintenance and rework.
