Position Title: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician  – 2nd or 3rd Shift

Wage: $28.32 - $28.59/hour

Shift: 2nd or 3rd

Hours: 3:00pm – 11:00pm/ 3:00pm – 3:00am / 11:00am – 11:00pm or 11:00pm – 7:00am or 11:00pm – 11:00am / 7:00pm – 7:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in Montgomery, IL. This is a direct hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift. Qualified applicants should have at least 7 years of relevant experience. Apply now!

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring position, repositioning components, and observing operations
- Perform emergency break downs
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and other repairs and installations as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork
- Troubleshoot and solve problems

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- At least 7 years of maintenance experience
- Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmissions and lubrication
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing plants
- Positive attitude and excellent attendance
- Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills
- Willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
