About the Job
General Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of duties including but not limited to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems for machinery.
Duties:
Perform highly diversified mechanical skills to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Diagnose problems to a component level, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Interpret diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
Use advanced trades mathematics along with complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas, all varieties of precision measuring instruments, CNC equipment, and personal computers.
Proficiently use DMMs, Meggers, Oscilloscopes, data logging instrumentation, and other typical measuring devices.
Demonstrate working knowledge of and experience with sensors including temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current, and others related to industrial manufacturing machinery
Use specific software application programs of a technical nature such as PLC programming software, and VFD set up, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Repair instrumentation and controllers.
Climate:
Demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands, and changing priorities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited apprenticeship or education equivalent to a 2-year technical degree the field of both analog and digital electronics
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
Experience using machine shop equipment such as Bridgeports, lathes, surface grinders etc.
Trained in electrical safe work practices with emphasis on NFPA 70E
Willing to advance with further education

Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM-5:00 AM
