Role Description: As an Electromechanical Technician, you must have at least 3+ years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing sensors used in the manufacturing of lasers.
This role requires extensive experience with electromechanical systems, including wires, harnesses, motors, gears, and other mechanical components. You will have hands-on experience with scopes, meters, cameras, and other testing devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and Calibration: Perform detailed testing and calibration of sensors to ensure they meet performance specifications. Utilize scopes, meters, cameras, and other diagnostic tools to analyze sensor functionality.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with sensors and related electromechanical systems. Address problems with wires, harnesses, motors, gears, and other mechanical parts.
- Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs on malfunctioning sensors and associated components. Implement preventive maintenance practices to ensure long-term reliability and performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, troubleshooting efforts, and repairs performed. Prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements to enhance sensor reliability and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify and address sensor-related issues. Provide technical support and training as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all sensors and electromechanical systems meet quality standards before they are integrated into the manufacturing process.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
