Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) and Johanson Dielectrics Inc. (JDI) are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our Eastern Territory. The two companies operate as one entity to offer you a larger portfolio of products to create more sales opportunities.
JDI/JTI has over thirty years' experience specializing in the design, manufacture and sales of high-quality Power and RF ceramic chip capacitors, inductors, and Integrated Passive Components into the global electronics market.
Yearly Salary (Exempt): $125,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
Potential Bonus: $20,000 - $30,000

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing our business in the Eastern Territory. Key success factors in this role are the identification, development, and closure of new business and fulfillment of existing business. JTI's products include a variety of capacitors, chip antennas and integrated passive components.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 15 years of electronic passive component experience.
- Direct experience designing passive components into customer circuits by collaborating with electrical design engineers.
- Five (5)+ years of Regional Sales Management with direct experience in capacitor sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and expert knowledge in Excel.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- At least 50% of Domestic and/or International travel is expected for this position.
- Must be ITAR compliant (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)
Preferred Education And Experience
- Five (5)+ years electrical component experience in Regional Sales Management, preferred
- Experience Managing Reps, preferred
- Experience working with Dynamics 365 CE (CRM), preferred
Essential Functions:
- Develop a sales growth plan for driving representatives & managing them.
- Grow sales 10% above electronics market expectations.
- Create and Manage Semi-Annual Corporate Forecast.
- Conduct Quarterly Forecast for pipeline reviews with our Manufacture's Reps that are documented with 30-day action plans.
- Drive OEM Design Wins convert to a purchase order both locally and when OEM selects a Contract Manufacturer (domestic or foreign) for production of their product.
- Train reps/agents to use our pipeline tracking system.
Attributes and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar function for an electronic components company. Experienced in value-based selling; strong attention to detail, excellent organization, communication and closing skills; excellent follow-up skills by responding quickly and efficiently
