Shift/Pay Rate: 1st shift (8am to 5pm): $21hour
Responsibilities:
- Examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Monitor operations to ensure that productions standards are met.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
- Mark measurement results on engineering drawings
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Report inspection and test data.
- Maintain records as required.
- Accept or reject finished items
Requirements:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree or Bachelors in Electronics or other technical discipline preferred.
- 2-4 years of previous quality assurance experience in electronics or power industry.
- Production and Processing; knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Stable work history
- Technical Knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and e-mail.
