Position Overview:QinetiQ US, in support of the C5ISR Center Exploitation Analysis and Response (EA&R) Division, Response Analysis and Data Extraction (RADE) Branch is looking to hire an experienced Electronic Engineer or Electronics Technician to support electronics exploitation of Uncrewed Systems (UxS) to support Counter Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) and Counter Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) missions.
Responsibilities:- Level II exploitation of electronic threat devices in forward exploitation labs in CENTCOM and AFRICOM, with the potential for EUCOM and INDOPACOM.
- Reverse engineering of threat electronic devices in support of intelligence analysis and operational sensitive site exploitation.
- Forensic analysis of recovered threat equipment.
- Expectation is deployments in 6-9 month rotations with duty station at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD supporting bench activities for Level III electronic exploitation when not on deployment.
- Understanding of electronic components and electrical properties
- Understanding of radio frequency transmitters and receivers
- Experience operating electronic bench equipment
- Familiar with UxS components and operation
- Able to develop electronic schematics
- Experience with technical writing and/or oral presentations to annotate findings to Lab Managers, Senior Leaders, and the exploitation community
- Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance #qinetiqclearedjob
- Must be willing to be deployed for 6-9 month rotations to various OCONUS locations and match local work hours expectations
- Familiar with different data extraction techniques on flight computers, cell phones and other electronic media
- Familiar with evidence handling procedures
- Familiar with forensic photography principles
