Requirements

• Two-year technical degree and zero years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic electronics knowledge gained through a combination of formal education and experience, including an understanding of electronic components, systems, and their interfaces
• Circuit analysis and design
• Soldering and de-soldering
• Cable harness assembly, including terminations
• Testing and measurement
• Troubleshooting

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with printed circuit boards, design, assembly, and repair

Description

• Assists with assembly and repair of electronics systems. Assists with the kitting of avionics modification packages.
• Participates in systems design with engineers
• Assembly and fabrication of electronics systems
• Responsible for testing and troubleshooting systems
• Assists with the collection of components for avionics system modification -kits-
• Repair electronics assemblies, cables, systems
