Electronics Technician
$25/hr - $40/hr
Due to the nature of work in the aerospace/defense industry, US Citizenship is required for this position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support electronics, data acquisition, hydraulics, and testing initiatives in our R&D Test Lab
Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects.
• Wire, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical, fluid, and thermal sensors essential for aerospace testing.
• Design and improve pressure, flow, and spray test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
• Operate and maintain fabrication equipment (e.g., tube bender, drill press, milling machine) and calibration tools (e.g., viscometer, densometer).
• Assist in upgrading hydraulic test stands, focusing on control valves, pumps, and automation systems.
• Lead calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed.
• Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture.
Qualifications:
• Education: Completed two-year degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or a closely related field.
• Hands-On Skills: Strong experience in fabrication, soldering/wiring, and electronics troubleshooting.
• Communication: Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to client's facilities, local universities, and suppliers.
