Job Overview:

STS Technical Services is hiring Electronics Technicians to support Pratt Miller in New Hudson, Michigan. We’re looking for one entry-level and one mid-level technician to help build wiring harnesses for vehicle electrification projects. These roles involve hands-on work with prototype and concept vehicles, offering you the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology in the automotive and motorsports industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build wire harnesses following IPC 620C standards.
• Interpret engineering schematics, pin schedules, and loom drawings to ensure quality assembly.
• Perform quality assurance checks on electronics work products and installations.
• Assist engineers with troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Install electrical components on vehicles.
• Use electronics tools such as voltmeters, power supplies, hand tools, and soldering irons.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in wire harness assembly (entry-level).
• 2+ years of experience in electrical component builds, testing, and repair (mid-level).
• IPC 620 certification or relevant experience building harnesses to military or motorsports standards.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with prototype harness builds.
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with automotive systems such as powertrain, lighting, and steering.
• Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and provide feedback on product needs.
