Position Summary
Perform production testing of high voltage, high power switching power supplies and associated subassemblies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests on finished units built by the Production department, adhering to test procedures and documenting results as required.
- Identify and report any malfunctioning unit operations accurately.
- Troubleshoot issues using block diagrams and schematics at the system, board, and component levels.
- Perform testing on equipment subassemblies by following written procedures.
- Download software programs from the network into components and assemblies using Windows-based software.
- Stamp and log all tested assemblies appropriately.
- Support Engineering in designing and building test fixtures, along with developing related procedures.
- Distinguish between production and engineering issues during testing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3 years recent experience in digital/analog discipline
- Electronics degree from an accredited technical institute or equivalent military training
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wire lists.
- Proficient in understanding test procedures and data sheets.
- Capable of effectively collaborating with assembly personnel to resolve issues.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Fully skilled in using standard test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohm meters, hi-pot testers, and thermal imagers.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Must have verified U.S. citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status.
