At Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a CVAUSA partner, our providers have heart. Our group of 21 accomplished physicians and staff of highly skilled specialists work as a team to provide care in virtually all aspects of cardiology. We offer all of our patients high-quality, comprehensive cardiac care at state-of-the-art, full service cardiac care centers. We offer an array of services throughout the counties of Citrus, Sumter, Lake, and Marion, which include (but not limited to): cardiovascular disease, coronary and peripheral interventions, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures.
As we continue to expand our services throughout Central Florida, we have a need for a dynamic and patient-centered Electrophysiologist to work within our local clinics and affiliated hospitals.

- Full-time Electrophysiologist
- Location: Group can support two new full-time Electrophysiologists, so there is an opportunity to work primarily in Ocala, or do a split between Ocala and Leesburg. Both locations have state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained staff.
- Collaborative team of over 21 Board Certified Cardiologists, 29 APPs, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical and administrative staff.
- Opportunity to become key faculty of General Cardiology Fellowship program in Ocala (Dr. Prashad of Citrus Cardiology is PD) affiliated with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine/HCA Consortium
- Primarily Electrophysiology services with some mixture of general cardiology.
- Mixture of hospital, clinic, and ambulatory surgical center. Will include 2-3 days within the lab and remaining time in clinic, may vary slightly based on patient needs.
- General services to include (but not limited to): echo, nuclear, cardiac CT, TEE, stress tests, consults, medical management, etc.
- Monday-Friday schedule with call schedule shared with other physicians
- Additional APP, MA, and administrative support in clinic and hospital.
- Position will offer base salary, production bonuses, and benefits package
- Partnership track and additional equity offering
- Sign-on and relocation package negotiable
- B/C in Cardiovascular Medicine, B/E or B/C in Electrophysiology
- Completion from a US Accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular program
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
- Board Certified in Nuclear and Echo a plus
- Hard working, patient satisfaction/quality must be front and center.
