About the Job
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to work with early childhood students ages 3-5 in a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each child’s unique developmental and learning needs. You will use play-based learning and developmentally appropriate practices to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Additionally, you will provide both individual and group instruction to help students meet their goals, adapting your approach to each child’s strengths and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and IEP goals.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate varying abilities.
- Provide emotional and social support, fostering a positive learning experience.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and determine educational needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to enhance student learning.
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses a valid Illinois teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education and holds a Bachelor’s in Special Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred! Competency in early childhood development and behavior management strategies is essential in this position.
