Their duties include scheduling routine maintenance like landscaping, mowing lawns, replacing roof tiles or changing air vents, overseeing a team of resident and maintenance staff and enforcing rental terms.

Their duties include scheduling routine maintenance like landscaping, mowing lawns, replacing roof tiles or changing air vents, overseeing a team of resident and maintenance staff and enforcing rental terms.
Job Duties:
- Collecting rent and property fees from tenants and owners
- Managing property expenses, including taxes, mortgages, and maintenance costs
- Reporting financial status, occupancy, and lease expirations to property owners
- Meeting potential tenants, conducting property tours, and evaluating applications
- Advertising vacant properties and coordinating leasing efforts as necessary
- Inspecting properties, arranging repairs, and managing service contracts
- Addressing property complaints and resolving rental violations
- Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site)
- Minimum of 3 years of apartment management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service oriented with strong teamwork abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and property tours
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of rental contracts and anti-discrimination laws
- Familiarity with Tax Credit requirements and affordable housing regulations
- Experience managing Flagship properties with government oversight
- Ability to navigate high-profile interactions with clients, ownership, and housing authorities
- Confidence in leading staff and enforcing policies and procedures
