We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Email Messaging Engineer to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA via hybrid (3 days per week in office work arrangement).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Design, implement, integrate, and provide full support for complex software in a multi-tiered, multi-platform environment.
• Maintains and supports moderately complex infrastructure environments.
• Performs complex troubleshooting as a subject matter expert.  
• Works to ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting setup. 
• Leads root cause analysis and problem management for complex problems to address underlying technical issues.
• Collaborates with business and application development stakeholders.
• Lead production readiness reviews for new releases and validate the supportability of changes prior to introduction into production.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 8 - 10 years of related infrastructure experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• 5+ years of Exchange Administration in on-prem, cloud and hybrid deployments, including:
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation is required.
  • Deep knowledge of email security protocols including SPF, DKIM, DMARC 
• Advanced troubleshooting of mail flow issues using email gateway products such as Proofpoint
• 5+ years in roles directly supporting end users with technology issues, specifically focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure applications in addition to email.  
  • A background using Power Platform technologies is preferred
