salary: $110,000 - 115,000 per year

responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of product safety and security engineering initiatives across all company production products.
Establish a clear vision for the product safety and security engineering team that aligns with the broader organizational goals and corporate objectives.
Oversee a team of direct reports, handling recruitment, training, retention, and performance management.
Act as a mentor and coach for engineering leaders to enhance team performance and collaboration.
Drive the strategy and continuous improvement of the company's product safety and security engineering methods and processes.
Standardize processes in product safety and security engineering to ensure the long-term success of production products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout engineering to ensure project success.
Manage relationships with contract software development firms and coordinate staff augmentation contracts to meet production program needs
To Succeed in this role
- 5 years of relevant cybersecurity engineering experience. Functional Safety and embedded Product Safety experience are also valued.
- 2 years of experience minimum leading/managing a team of engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline.
