Job Title : Embedded Software Resident Engineer - Automotive Systems
Job Type : W2
Experience : 5 15 Years
Location : Southfield, Michigan
Responsibilities:
- 2-3 years of experience working with CAN, diagnostic, and testing tools.
- Experience with Chrysler systems (CDA 00, CN, DCR, e-CITS) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Embedded C and/or Linux development.
- Highly skilled in troubleshooting software issues, especially in an automotive context.
- Strong understanding of electronics and software relevant to the automotive industry.
- Ability to work with specialized software tools for testing and diagnostics.
- Participate in customer meetings, representing Marel's interests and expertise.
- Lead joint debugging sessions with the customer to resolve software and system issues.
- Support the Marel software development team with product analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Assist in system bench testing and product validation activities.
- Perform administrative tasks related to the design release process within the customer's release protocols.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
