PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Game One is the premier provider of apparel, gear, and equipment unifying teams and fans in schools, clubs and organizations.
JOB SUMMARY: Prepares orders to be processed by maintaining a constant flow of work for production.
Status/Hours: Full-Time; Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm; Overtime when required.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Using a schedule provided by the Embroidery Department Manager, locates and stages garments for production ensuring that the embroidery machine operators don’t run out of work.
- Acquire the knowledge needed to maneuver through orders in Edge Wear.
- Complete all proper paperwork.
- Retrieve orders from the staging or holding area.
- Count garments prior to production checking for correct color and sizes.
- Check colors of thread with Product Spec. sheet.
- Work closely with other departments.
- Acquire the knowledge needed to ship orders on the UPS and FEDEX system through Edge Ware.
- Prepare all orders to be shipped, picked up or taken to holding.
- Account for all boxes and holding labels in an order.
- Take all orders to the proper final destination.
- Help with trimming when needed.
- Utilizes personal protective equipment as required for personal safety.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Performs job consistently within established performance standards.
- Is punctual, observes prescribed work break/meal periods and has an acceptable overall attendance record.
- Other duties as assigned by the dept. manager or dictated by the needs of the business.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, interpret orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals.
