Title – EMC and RF Test Engineer

Duration – Permanent Work/Direct Hire Role

Pay Range - $80K - $120K

We are seeking a specialized EMC and RF Test Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on testing and troubleshooting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) components and systems. Applicants should have a solid background in electrical engineering, specifically in EMC and RF testing methodologies, and not in software testing. Responsibilities include conducting EMC qualification tests, RF interference analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards under ISO 17025 accreditation.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our successful engineering team, you will be responsible for working with clients developing EMC and RF test strategies and the execution of EMC and RF test programs. · Ability to independently solve problems and make project decisions while working under ISO 17025 accreditation criterion

· Execute EMC, wireless testing and document results in standardized test reports, ensuring compliance with ISO-17025 requirements

· Your mission as a project leader for wireless and EMC test programs will be to develop and maintain appropriate test records test processes

· Mentor and train less experienced technical staff, providing constructive feedback and contributing to continuous improvement in lab operations

· Provide customer support regarding the application of EMC and wireless standards, test procedures

· Capable of performing technical research leading to the development of efficient test techniques

· Interface and support company operational requests providing guidance in sales estimate and certification generation where necessary

Required Skillset

· Minimum of Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years technical test experience

· Knowledge of regulatory compliance wireless and hands-on EMC experience together with an understanding of wireless technologies is beneficial

· Demonstrate ability to work under pressure which includes implementation of successful client communication techniques.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
