Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Emergency Claims Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating emergency and routine claims with vendors across our contract network, ensuring efficient and timely response to all claims. This position requires strong customer service skills, flexibility, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our clients. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, willing to work on an on-call schedule, and adaptable to meet the demands of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Dispatching:
Assign emergency and routine property claims to appropriate vendors within our network, ensuring timely response and adherence to company standards.
Vendor Coordination:
Maintain clear communication with vendors throughout the claims process to ensure accurate information, prompt service, and quick issue resolution.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, utilizing excellent tone, voice inflection, and communication skills to address inquiries and provide updates on claim statuses.
Follow-Up:
Proactively follow up on dispatched claims to confirm successful completion and resolve any issues that may arise.
On-Call Availability:
Willingness to work on-call shifts, including nights and weekends, to support emergency claims. Note: No time off will be granted within the first 90 days.
Documentation:
Accurately document all interactions, claim details, and updates in the company’s system to maintain comprehensive records for each case.
Collections Assistance:
Support the collections process when necessary by providing accurate claim information and working with team members to resolve payment issues.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless claim handling and a high level of service across all functions.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience:
Proven experience in customer service, with a focus on clear communication, active listening, and empathy for customers’ needs.
Claims or Property Management Experience:
Familiarity with property claims, especially first notice of loss (FNOL) or similar claims processes, is a strong advantage.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new software systems to manage claim records and communicate with vendors.
Self-Motivated:
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
Flexible Schedule:
Willing to work on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed to support emergency claims.
Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent tone, voice inflection, and interpersonal skills to provide a positive customer experience, even in high-stress situations.
Additional Information:
This position requires full availability for the first 90 days, with no scheduled time off.
