TITLE: Emergency Department Manager (Night Shift)
LOCATION: near Lexington, Kentucky

SUMMARY

Must be willing to work one of these schedules.

• Monday-Friday: 3p-11p
• Monday-Friday: 4p-12a
• Monday-Friday: 5p-1a

Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical,

administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.

Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS
Must be an RN with the state of Kentucky . BSN preferred. Must have CPR and ACLS certifications also. RN experience with good technical skills. Successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills. Requires basic computer literacy within a Windows environment, including word processing functions, use of the internet, and computer-based education. Keyboarding ability required.

Facility is a 70 plus bed hospital that is Joint Commission(JCAHO) accredited. Position reports to the CNO and looking for someone with at least 2-3 years ER or ICU experience and has a strong collaborative work style. The facility is offering a range between $75,000 - $98,000 and offers a full benefit package and sign-on bonus.
