You will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with our clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Directing and evaluating departmental operations including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Planning and monitoring staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding, and coordinating internal/external audits.
- Creating and fostering an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
