About the Job
Join this wonderful independent hospital as an Emergency Medicine physician in beautiful Black River Falls! This Critical Access Hospital is recruiting for an EM physician, and they are happy to accomodate part or full time. Salary estimate starts at $367k, plus sign on bonus, relocation, and CME allowance. There are opportunities and financial incentives for additional shifts/holidays. This EM department has been in practice for 50+ years.
Details
-ER includes 2 trauma rooms, 1 triage room. 7 exam rooms onsite, 2 are negative pressure.
-ancillary services onsite include Xray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, lab, respiratory therapy, and a social worker.
-support staff includes an NP/PA (10 hours daily), and RN (minimum of 2 RNs 24/7). Also onsite are 24/7 ER tech, HUC, and others.
-24 hour shifts (8am-8pm), 7 shifts per month. Rotating holidays and weekends.
-historic ED volumes are 10k visits per year

Plenty of activities going on all year, including the Butterfly Festival & Race, Oktoberfest, the Ho-Chunk Nation Pow Wow, and various festivals. Several youth sports organizations, and great schools. One hour form La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Marshfield. 2 hours from Madison and Minneapolis.
