Emergency Medicine Medical Director - Oak Valley Hospital - US Acute Care Solutions

As a medical director at USACS, you will be responsible for collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. You will serve as a leader both within the emergency department, and as a leader within the organization. Details

• Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration
• Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
• Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
• Medical Director stipend of $85,000 per year + 25% bonus (based on performance)

Emergency Department

• ED Volume: 20,000
• 10-hour shifts for APPs
• ED and hospital nursing leaders are strong advocates for the ED

Hospital

• The Oak Valley Hospital (OVH) building opened in 2012
• 12-bed ED
• 24 hours of physician coverage
• 10 hours of APP coverage daily
• Paper t-sheets with dictation for EMR; Meditech for CPOE
• On-call services include: FP, IM, GS, Trauma Surgeons, Ortho, ENT, Radiology, and Urology
• On-call specialists: hospitalist and general surgeon
• EMR: Meditech
