We also have a mobile clinic that travels to communities across Los Angeles County to bring health care services to them. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our Emergency Operations and Risk Management Department is seeking a highly motivated individual who is analytical, strategic, detailed oriented, curious, and take initiatives to fill the Emergency Operations Coordinator (Coordinator) position. Due to the department's fast pace environment, this individual must be comfortable with shifting from one task or project to another at any given time, while adhering to internal and external due dates. This will require the individual to have great time management and prioritization skills. To be successful in this position, this individual must have extremely strong research skills, communication both written and verbal skills, and presentation, facilitation, and training skills. This individual must also have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable engaging with CCHC's leadership team.

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR SUMMARY OF RESPONSABILITIES

The Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Emergency Operations and Risk Management (Director) and will be responsible for assisting the Director with managing CCHC's emergency operations programs, and provide administrative support to the clinics. The Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

· Manage and coordinate all emergency planning activities.

· Develop and present training to employees on emergency topics, plans, and responses.

· Maintain readiness of CCHC and emergency supplies at the administrative site.

· Plans, designs, and execute emergency response drills and exercises, and evaluate the efficacy of the drills and exercises.

· Develop assessments to evaluate employees' readiness.

· Create and deliver reports and presentations highlighting findings, identifying and explaining potential risks, and recommending solutions.

· Develop and implement emergency operations efficiency projects.

· Manage and maintain CCHC's Emergency Operation Plan.

· Maintain logs for tracking emergency activities and incidents.

· Responsible for completing after action reports and follow-ups are complete.

· Travel to clinic locations as needed to conduct assessments and trainings.

· Attend meetings, conferences, and trainings as deemed necessary for the department.

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required).

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college/university in emergency management, business administration or related field, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities to perform the job (preferred).

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS COORDINATOR Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Position requires prolonged sitting at a computer, some bending, lifting, stooping and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, photocopy machine, telephone, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight.
