Emergency Room Technicians support the nursing and medical staff in the emergency department by assisting with patient care and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient triage and preparation for treatment.
- Perform basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and collecting samples.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the emergency room.
- Assist medical staff with procedures and documentation.
- Ensure availability and functionality of medical supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of a medical assistant or emergency medical technician program.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
